Who may benefit from online appointments?

Remote appointments can support adults elsewhere in Greece, on the islands or abroad. Suitability depends on clinical needs, the setting of the appointment and the applicable requirements in the country where you are located.

If an in-person examination or local support is needed, we will discuss an alternative care pathway.

How to prepare

• Choose a private, quiet place where you can speak freely.
• Check your camera, microphone and internet connection.
• Have your current medication list and any previous reports available.
• Tell the practice which country and location you will be in during the appointment.

A video appointment is a clinical session, rather than a message exchange. It needs protected time, just like an office visit.

If you live outside Greece

You can request an appointment in Greek or English. Before booking, contact the practice with your country of residence and your purpose: assessment, follow-up or a report for a treating clinician.

Do not assume that every foreign organisation accepts a Greek report or prescription. Recognition of an assessment, access to treatment and prescribing arrangements should be checked with the relevant professional or organisation in your country.

Continuity of care

Where possible and with your consent, care may be coordinated with your local clinician. Assessment and access to medication are separate questions: the availability of a video appointment does not automatically permit cross-border prescribing.

When to seek urgent local help

Scheduled online appointments are not an emergency service. In immediate danger, contact the emergency services in your country or attend the nearest hospital. In Greece and across the European Union, you can call 112.
